Grace

I stare into Space
Nothing I can help
My mind seems to just go
Go to the dark and the black

I pray for grace
I pray someone hears my yelp
I can no longer go with the flow
I need my soul back

So as I stare into space
I am praying for grace
I need my soul back
I can’t let it go to black
I need my soul back
So as I stare into the black
I pray for grace
As I stare into Space

I look at the bottle of liquor
I look at the bottle of pills
I see the darkness in the edges
I stare into the black

All, those I love, do is bicker
It makes me want to run to the hills
But all that will do is build wedges
When the black of death is a better track

I stare into Space
Nothing I can help
My mind seems to just go
Go to the dark and the black

I pray for grace
I pray someone hears my yelp
I can no longer go with the flow
I need my soul back

My thoughts are red with blood
What if I choose to end it all
Will it be better?
Can it be worse?

I am thought of as less than mud
And this bitch will never crawl
But I have written that letter
But have put it all in reverse

So as I stare into space
I am praying to for grace
I need my soul back
I can’t let it go to black
I need my soul back
So as I stare into the black
I pray for grace
As I stare into Space

I pray for grace
I pray someone hears my yelp
I can no longer go with the flow
I need my soul back

I need my soul back
I can’t continue to stare into black
I need my soul back
Before I give into the black
So as I stare into space
I pray for grace
